PURI FOUNDATION FOR EDUCATION IN INDIA

Puri Foundation for Education in India is a premier institution for development and education, located in Gandhinagar, the capital city of Gujarat, India.

It has  set up   Indian Institute of Advance Research,  at Koba, Gandhinagar for advanced research and education in Biology and Bio-technology.

Prof. Nathu Puri, the founder of Puri Foundation, is an eminent Indian industrialist based in Nottingham, United Kingdom. He was recently honored with the Award of Excellence by the Hindu Forum of Britain for his exemplary community service. The Puri Foundation, UK is associated with a wide spectrum of charitable and promotional activities. A self made person who has risen from a remote rural  area of Punjab to become an eminent entrepreneur, thought of promoting a School of Public Leadership in Gujarat, India. He was joined by Dr. Kirit Shelat who retired from Indian Administrative Service, as Principal Secretary to Government of Gujarat,  as a Founder Member,  in July 2006. The  first  training programme commenced in December 2006.
