Conservation of Bio-diversity

The Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, New Delhi has recognized ISPL for carrying out research in conservation of Applied Bio-diversity. It has sanctioned a project aiming at preparing a compendium of existing information and materials, production of communication material and conducting training programme for the grass root level leaders.

The preparation of compendium and development of communication material, which includes documentary, flip charts, posters and booklet, which will be used for imparting training to the grass root level leaders to make them aware about the important role of bio-diversity prevailing in plant and animal species. This is already viewed, verified and scrutinized by the team of the experts in one of the workshop held at Gandhinagar.

Whatever communication material developed in the form of documentary, charts, posters, booklet under this research project need to be translated into Hindi, Marathi and Bengali languages so as to use the same materials in respective states without developing denovo similar materials and spent funds.
